Built by a beekeeper, shaped by the bee yard.
BeekeeperOS was started by a beekeeper from the practical work of keeping bees: remembering the last inspection, tracking what was done, and deciding what needs attention next.
The platform draws on about six years of practical beekeeping experience with 20+ hives, along with a perspective shaped by technology and innovation. It reflects a simple belief: better tools should make complex information easier to use.
A brick only tells you so much.
Many beekeepers carry their records in their heads, turn a brick sideways, move a marker on a lid, or leave a scribbled note. Those quick reminders can work well—until the colony count grows, the season gets busy, or a few weeks pass and the meaning of that marker is harder to recall.
A brick is a reminder, not a record.
It cannot show what happened three inspections ago, how temperament changed, when a colony was treated or fed, whether an intervention helped, or how that colony performed through the season. We respect the brick. We just think it deserves some backup.
BeekeeperOS was built to preserve that context. The goal is not to replace beekeeper experience. It is to give that experience somewhere useful to live.
