What is BeekeeperOS?
BeekeeperOS is beekeeping management software that brings inspections, treatments, feeding and colony history together. Track strength, temperament, queen history and mite checks, with weather context and apiary management to help you understand the season.
Who is it for?
U.S. hobbyist and sideliner beekeepers, from those planning hive one to those managing 100+ hives.
Can I use it now?
BeekeeperOS is currently in private beta testing, with broader access coming soon. Join Early Access to hear when availability expands and to let us know if you’re interested in helping test BeekeeperOS.
Will there be a free tier?
Yes. BeekeeperOS is being built with a meaningful free option for new and small-scale beekeepers. Making useful hive records accessible early helps people learn and understand their colonies. As operations grow, additional paid capabilities may be available for beekeepers who need more.
Do I need sensors?
No. BeekeeperOS is useful without connected hardware. Your observations and records remain the foundation. The platform is being designed to incorporate more context over time, including weather stations, hive sensors and other connected devices; availability will be clearly identified.
Will it tell me what to do with my bees?
BeekeeperOS provides context for decisions. It does not replace local expertise, hands-on training, mentors, beekeeper judgment, product labels or applicable regulations. It does not guarantee colony health, survival, treatment success or honey yield. Better records can give you more context for making thoughtful, informed management decisions.
What emails will I receive?
We do not sell your email address. You’ll receive relevant communications based on your choices, including signup confirmation and, where you’ve given permission, product updates, Early Access news, beta invitations and occasional useful BeekeeperOS or beekeeping content. Tester interest and marketing consent are separate. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
